I do apologize for holding everyone up. Just to prove that I am in fact working on it, I am posting what I have thus far for you all to check out.

Rick is a bullshit artist… (and not a very good one, at that) and you know how the saying goes: Never try and bullshit a bullshitter. Rick is a bullshit detector. He possess an excessive personality… whether it his drinking, gambling or otherwise. Rick is simply over the top. It was this personality trait that got him into some trouble.
Rick can play the bad cop better than anyone out there, except he isn’t playing. His quick explosive temper and ability to intimidate have often come in handy on more than one occasion but have also gone a long way in alienating him from his “peers”. He is a bit of a loner and is prone to do his own thing during his investigations, ignoring the suggestions of others.
Rick lives a nomad lifestyle. Most of his things are still in boxes from his NYC move… the only things unpacked in his small LA apartment are his stereo, television and CD collection (about 20 Cds large, mostly of the bands listed below under likes.) He takes monthly trips to Vegas where he has been know to spend three days straight at the tables while binge drinking. A functioning alcoholic an addict, it is not uncommon to see him under the influence of something, but not know otherwise. He frequents local watering-holes shoot pool and drinking. Most women are put off by his temper and habits, but if Rick wants to get laid, he never really has any problems.
He views himself as a “fallen hero” even if it is by his own doing...
Hobbies: gambling (poker and blackjack), billiards, drinking, television (The Learning Channel and Discovery Channel mostly)
Rick Likes: Old School Punk… the Ramones, Television, the Sex Pistols, the Clash, the ESPN World Series of Poker, Cold Case Files and Guns and Ammo Magazine
Rick Hates: Both the television shows Cops and Real Stories of the Highway Patrol. He thinks that both of them are “complete and utter bullshit” and don’t show cop life the way it really is. Rick also hates rednecks, mostly because of his upbringing.
Physical Description: Rick is very urban metro… He has shunned his small town upbringing. Most would view him as lower middle class. He frequently wears wrinkled dress and polo shirts. For real formal occasions he wears a dark gray sport coat… never with a tie. His appearance can be rough at times, due largely to the fact that he often only catches a few hours of sleep, if any at all.
