The following is an ever-growing list of terms used in the phobiaverse and their definitions. Examples have been given to give an idea of the term's usage in a sentence.
I/E - Literally "Industrial Espionage". Example: Joe is an I/E Operative. Spitfire is an I/E unit.
Sci-Type - I/E operative slang for scientist. Same usage as the term "labcoat". Example: "So we hit the room like a fucken tornado, and fucken Sinclaire waxes the two sci-types in the corner trying to fucken escape..."
NPC - A term used by I/E Operatives to describe most non-mission specific individuals. Example: "Don't worry about the girl at the desk, she's an NPC."
Suit - Standard term for anyone who regularly wears a suit and tie to go to work-- Administration or generic business men. Example: "This business would be great if it weren't for all the god damn suits around!"
BFG - Yes. The "Big-Fuckin'-Gun" from old school shooters like Doom. This is a reference to any hand-held oversized energy-firing weapon. Example: "Matty-- we're gonna need you to bring out the BFG."
Meat - An not very glamorous term sometimes used by the Myth Killers to describe Zombies. Example: "Climbing out of the manhole, we found ourselves out of the frying pan, skipping the fire, and landing straight in hell. Meat came shambling forth, their fetid decayed stench preceding them.
A Hole - Any underground location from a natural cave to a manmade facilty or bunker. Example: "Down in the hole there was no longer day or night-- it really began fucking with my head after awhile."
The Prize - The mission objective. Sometimes a literal object. Example: "Bingo! Mother fucker! We've got the Prize!"
A Romero - A slow moving, sluggish flesh-eating zombie. Example: "I dunno Chris, I think we can clear it-- the meat that's out there are Romeros-- we can outrun them!"
Labcoat - Same as Sci-Type.
Wax - To kill. Example: "I was about to be waxed right there, naked and in my bathroom. Already it was starting out to be a pretty shitty day."
