"Hmmm, I guess I'll hit the trailer as well," Apollo says to himself as he watches Mojo and Roanoke walk away. "Number 17, eh?" Apollo begins his search for the trailer marked 17...

Rick nods in confirmation and begins his search for his own room. First to the room, then to track down the slippery Iglasias.

Both Hollowpoint and Apollo head back to find their trailers.
The cavernous tunnels of rock, the steady *tink* *tink* of the foorsteps on the metal grate. The rich moist earthy scent that fills the air. Even the lighting which was previously lit by hanging fixtures of fluorecent office lighting, has now gotten incresingly more sparse. The light provided now by small orange lights attatched to the bottom of the grating every few feet. It all adds up to create an increasing sense of unease.
The areas where the trailers sit are lit by only the white "front porch" light at each of the trailers.
Hollowpoint comes upon a trailer marked #15, and goes up to the door.
TRAILER EXTERIOR: Set up on concrete blocks, (to the level of the metal grated flooring of the cavern) and bolted into the hard rock floor, this is small trailer with white linoleum siding. A short wooden stairway is built up to the front door. Sturdy wooden rails run up both sides. There are three windows on the side that the door is on. One on one side of the door with two more on it's other. It's number is stenciled in black on the linoleum siding right above the door.
Apollo, goes towards his trailer, and up to the front door. Behind him he sees Halo exiting and locking up her trailer. Caught up in thoughts of her own perhaps, she doesn't even seem to notice Apollo as she heads back through the tunnels that lead to the elevator.

On her way back to the elevator, Halo notices the lights on in the other trailers. A smile crosses her face. The others must have felt a little naked without a firearm or two like she did. And since the pilot would have been less than enthusiastic about a loaded handgun, this was the best chance to get loaded. She pulls her pack of Red Apples from her pocket and pulls one out. Returning the pack, she removes her Zippo and flicks open the top on her jeans in one motion and lights it with another. After a quick puff on her smoke, she trots over toward the elevator.
After a short while, Halo notices the sounds of conversation, and sneaks towards it's source in the shadows. Her thread picks back up in: "Re: HALO (solo #1) « Reply #4 on: Feb 13th, 2004, 02:49am »"

After a quick shower and change, Apollo makes sure he's got all of his gear in place. After a quick look around inside the trailer, he sets off in search of the crime scene.

Roanoke. Standing by the elevator hears the now familiar sound of it's motor's whine. It seems to be getting louder. Though, the sound doesn't give any indication of the direction it is traveling.

Roanoke listens intently to the distinct, yet gentle whirring hum of the pulleys and motors as they draw the elevator closer to him. He decides that there is nowhere to abscond to for a better auditory vantage point, as the elevator alcove is quite barren of any such advantageous nooks or crannies. Instead he opts to wait across from the elevator doors, on the opposing wall, positioned dead center to the center opening doors, so that he will be the first thing that the elevator's occupant sees upon exiting. 'It's probably just that damned fidgety Dr. Yankowski,' he speculates to himself.
There, leaning nonchalantly against the rockface, Roanoke quietly awaits the elevator's (and passenger's/s') arrival.

Alright... what am I going to need? Holowpoint thinks to himself mulling over his gear. He grabs his glock and tucks it neatly into the holster. He also grabs anything that would be deemed necessary to conduct a succesful field operation and investigation.
Finally he grabs a silver flask and tucks it into the breast pocket of his sportcoat.
"Think I'll be needing this" he mutters as he exits his trailer to go and find his newfound friend Iglasias.

With the sound of released air and the heavy clunk of clamps engaging, the elevator shudders to a halt.
The outer doors, direrectly in front of Roanoke, two heavy metal ones, slide into the walls to the left and right. The gated wire mesh inner doors and three feet the only things separating Roanoke from a startled familiar face.
"Holy crap!" Yankowski gasped, taking a step back as the inner gate open. "You startled me." he said, stating the obvious. He stepped out of the elevator and into the hall, he walked to the corner and looked around.
"Are you the only one here?"
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Deeper in the cavern, "Hollowpoint" Rick Wallace exited his trailer, and began to walk back towards the path that would eventually lead to the trailer. Behind him he hears clanking metal footsteps. He turns his head a bit to see who it is, and spots fellow Blitzkrieger James Mercer coming up behind him.

Roanoke fixes his dark brown eyes upon Yankowski and flashes him a deprecating glare. "Yeah, I'm the only one here...so far. You know, Mexicans are the only people I've seen that seem to be more paranoid than you, Yankowski. I always laugh when I see them being chased on that should-be sitcom COPS. You, however, don't amuse me at all."
Roanoke shifts his gaze to the grated floor, kicking an idle cigarette butt through the grates to join its kin in the mass grave below.

Apollo quickly checks his cell for any messages or updates, and finding none, he heads toward the elevator. Noticing Hollowpoint, he nods in greeting. "I feel sorry for whoever you're looking for," he says.

Hollowpoint gives Apollo a brief smirk, but before he can verbally respond, they both spot Crimson stepping out of the shadows of a tunnel, and towards them.
Crimson stops and looks at Hollowpoint and Apollo "So where are you two headed? I am off to get a few things then I am gonna head to the fire scene" He says in a flat tone.
========================================
Yankowski adjusts his glasses and checks his watch-- Roanoke watches him with apparent indiffence. His ears again pick up the sounds of talking, and again he thinks he hears Halo's voice.
He takes a few steps towards the sound when he finds that his perceptions were correct.
Halo comes around the corner-- her arms around the waists of two men. Both new faces. One with a very bushy dark moustache and a prominent nose, the other somewhat handsome with a very short goatee and moustache.

Halo spots the pair of Roanoke and Yankowski and releases Morse and Reaver. "Hang on a sec guys, I need to talk to my team mate here." Addressing the two miners. "Hello again Mr. Yankowski. Roanoke, I wont be joining you on the autopsy. I am off to meet Mr. Constantine and have a drink with him. As well as a few words." She narrows her eyes and turns her attention to Yankowski. "Mr. Yankowski, how long has Nibelung and Constantine U.E.S been affiliated with each other?"

"Oh! H-hello there." Yankowski stammers. "Halo, right?" He pauses for a moment. A look of concentration on his face.
"C-Constantine U.E.S. and Nibelung have been working together for a little over six years now. Did you know that the newest mining devices they use have been developed due to Constantine's close association with Nibelung's Robotic's division." Yankowski smiles, "Y-you should really see the results, quite breathtaking."

Even as Roanoke and Halo greet each other near the elevator, Rick Wallace AKA "Hollowpoint", Apollo, and Crimson stand in a different area of the cavernous "Residential Level". - GM
"I wouldn't want to be Iglasias either" Hollowpoint responds to Apollo with a half serious grin. "I'm thinking about heading right to the Autopsy. Are either one of you heading that way?
Hollowpoint looks at both of his teammates.
"When I really think I've got all the time in the world to catch up with Iglasias. Bodies start to get real rank after sitting around too long."
