We know you had to have seen the Dawn of the Dead remake, what are your thoughts being the necrophiliac that you are? Although I have discovered many people's fascination with zombie movies is due to the act of killing the zombies. It is legalized murder.

I know you asked for Jace's opinion, but I must say that I thought it was pretty intense. It had its funny moments, too. Like Celebrity Target Practice. I think the first ten minutes set the pace for the rest of the flick. Overall, I think it was a very well done remake. I especially liked the way the ending (epilogue, whatever) was interspersed into the ending credits. That ending used some pretty enticing camera work to ensure that all the males in the audience would stay firmly rooted in their seats until the verrrrry end, too.

I to must say that Dawn of The Dead was awsome. That was one of the scariest horror movies i have seen in a long time. The zombie baby was cool. The credits were pretty cool although i was suprised that they ALL died.

Celebrity target practice made me laugh out loud in the theater. Especially since I picked out Jay Leno right before he had a gaping head wound.

In my humble opinion: DAWN was the best damn Zombie movie EVER-- It had everything that made for a GREAT zombie film-- Major internal conflict as well as the zombie conflict externally.
I can't stop thinking about the damn movie-- I'm overloaded-- MUST SEE IT AGAIN!!!

I, too, am enthralled with Dawn of the Dead. I've now seen it twice. And the second time was even better than the first. The first time I saw it there were these 4 younger guys (16 or 17 yrs. old) who were needlessly noisy at inappropriate times.
When the film ended the first time, these 4 guys were getting up to leave during the credits. As they were leaving, one of them happened to notice the topless chick that flashed on the screen as a ploy to keep everyone in the theatre until the end.
He said in his half-broken adolescent voice, "Whoa! Guys, guys, guys! We can't leave yet! There's naked chicks! Did you see?"
So without question they stayed until the very end. It must have been sad for the other three of them to discover that there were no more "naked chicks" to be seen.
Now, fast-forward to the second time I saw Dawn of the Dead. I once again had a group of obnoxious guys (5 of them this time, same age group; figures) sitting behind me. And again, at the end of the movie they made to leave during the commencement of the end credits. And again, this group of guys had amongst them one who is ever watchful for the chance appearance of female anatomy, au naturel. And like any good guy would do, he alerted his friends, so that they all could share in the beautiful imagery.
So they all sat down so as to partake in the viewing of potential additional breasts.
It was at this precisely opportuned moment that I chose to enact my diabolical scheme.
I turned around and, with the most deadpan gaze and in the most joyous tone, I exclaimed, "Oh wait! It gets even better! In another minute or two, they're gonna show some full frontal male nudity! It's great!"
I don't think I've ever seen any group of people, guys or girls, move faster than that group of five did in order to get out of the theatre before the "full frontal male nudity scene" could unfold. LOL! ;D
They're probably going to wonder where that scene went when the movie is released on DVD and they find that it is mysteriously missing.
